01What does “fully managed” include?+
Akenify manages the operating layer around Akeneo Community Edition: infrastructure, runtime, supporting data services, monitoring, backups, maintenance, and capacity guidance. Your team remains in control of product data, business workflows, and commercial decisions.
02Is migration from a legacy Akeneo version really free?+
Yes. When you move an eligible legacy Akeneo environment to Akenify managed hosting, we do not charge a migration fee for the work included in the agreed migration plan. We assess the current version, data, customizations, and integrations before confirming the scope.
03What is included in the free migration?+
The agreed migration can include technical assessment, migration planning, target environment preparation, application and data transfer, validation support, and coordinated production cutover. Unsupported custom code, connector redevelopment, or extensive data remediation is identified separately before work begins.
04Can our developers and agency keep working with the platform?+
Yes. The service is designed to give your developers or implementation partner a stable operating foundation while preserving a clear boundary between platform operations, application work, integrations, and product-data ownership.
05What happens when our catalog grows?+
We review resource use, search and indexing behavior, queue throughput, database performance, and operational headroom. Changes are planned around real workload patterns rather than forcing every customer into the same infrastructure package.
06Do you offer accounts for agencies?+
Yes, absolutely. Agency accounts let you manage all your client environments from a single place. Agency partners can also earn a share of the recurring revenue from clients they bring to Akenify, with commercial terms agreed directly with each agency.
